In my day to day practice as a doula, I have observed the areas where traditional doula support often falls short. I knew going into this work that education meant a great deal to me, but quickly found just how sharply childbirth education can influence the outcome of a birth. To avoid frequently having to have critical teaching moments within the delivery room, I designed materials that could both clearly explain the intricacies of birth, and be accessed over and over again via our Pocket Doula Birth Prep Program.
